Remember when American President, Donald Trump’s Twitter account went down for several minutes? That was reportedly done by one rascal on his last day of work and the reasons are best known to him.
That wasn’t the only instance of insane actions taken by people on their last day of work so we have compiled a list of 5 rascals who did insane things on their Last day of work.
Marie Lupe Cooley, an administrative assistant at an architectural firm saw an advertisement in a newspaper which was listed by her boss for a new administrative assistant. Marie thinking her job was over drove to her office on Sunday morning and deleted the $2.5 million worth of documents. She was subsequently arrested and charged with damage in excess of $1,000, the painful part is the administrative assistant job listed by her boss was for his wife’s company.
An employee of Taiwanese video studio, Marina Shifrin made an epic exit from her workplace by filming herself dancing to Kanye West’s “Gone” at 4:30 am. However, she has regretted her action by making a post on LinkedIn, encouraging people not to follow her lead.
Bizzare, a JetBlue flight attendant did not only activate the plane’s emergency slide and ran off, she also cursed out the entire flight. It all started when he alleged one passenger ignored his instructions to remain seated, and accidentally hit him in the head with her bag.
Passengers on the plane however denied the flight attendant, Steven Slater’s allegations so he got on the plane’s speaker system and proceeded to launch an expletive-filled rant.
Slater then escaped after activating the emergency slide but was subsequently arrested and sentenced to one year of probation, according to CNN.
Charlo Greene, a TV reporter for Local Anchorage left her job in the most bizarre way. While knowing she was live on air, Charlo according to the Huffington Post, after telling viewers she would be leaving to focus on “fighting for freedom and fairness” by cultivating marijuana. She added, “And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f— it, I quit.”
Liz Wahl decided to stick to another script from the official one by accusing RT for distorting its coverage of Russia’s occupation of Crimea. She said, “I cannot be part of a network funded by the Russian government that whitewashes the actions of Putin. I’m proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth, and that is why, after this newscast, I’m resigning.”
My little advice to you as quoted from the Taiwanese video studio employee who filmed her epic Kanye-themed exit.
“Don’t quit in an epic way. Work at your job as long possible, save up as much money as possible, and apply to as many jobs as possible.”
