1. Koutammakou

It is the Land of the Batammariba, a cultural landscape designated in 2004 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Togo. The area features traditional mud tower-houses which remain the preferred style of living. The traditional mud houses are known as a national symbol of Togo.

2. Gashaka Gumti National Park

Gashaka-Gumti National Park is a national park in Nigeria, It was gazetted from two game reserves in 1991 and is Nigeria’s largest national park. It is located in the eastern provinces of Taraba and Adamawa to the border with Cameroon.

3. Cape Coast Castle

Cape Coast Castle is one of about forty “slave castles”, or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders. It was originally built by the Swedes for trade in timber and gold, but later used in the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

4. Kachikally Museum and Crocodile Pool

The Kachikally crocodile pool is located in the heart of Bakau, Gambia, about 10 miles from the capital Banjul. It is one of three sacred crocodile pools used as sites for fertility rituals. The others are Folonko in Kombo South and Berending on the north bank.

5. Domes de Fabedougou

The Domes de Fabedougou are over 1.8 billion years old, these hauntingly beautiful domes are both an excellent view and climbing spot, yet it is almost entirely unheard of. 8. Giza Pyramid Complex

The Giza pyramid complex is an archaeological site on the Giza Plateau, on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. It includes the three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village and an industrial complex.

9. Marrakech Museum

he Museum of Marrakech is an art museum located in the old center of Marrakesh, Morocco. The museum is housed in the Dar Menebhi Palace, constructed at the end of the 19th century by Mehdi Menebhi. The palace was carefully renovated by the Omar Benjelloun Foundation and converted into a museum in 1997.

10. Black River Gorges National Park

Black River Gorges National Park is a national park in the hilly south-western part of Mauritius. It was proclaimed on June 15, 1994 and is managed by the National Parks and Conservation Service. It covers an area of 67.54 km² including humid upland forest, drier lowland forest and marshy heathland.
