Many thought Shatta Wale as an artiste who claimed to have felt the sudden death of Ebony would do anything to give his last respect to the late 90s bad gyal. Well, Ebony died last month in a car crash which claimed not only her life but two others who were traveling with her from Sunyani to Accra and to honor her, Bullet who is her manager has decided to organize a musical concert in memory of the late Ebony Reigns.

Many artistes have been billed to perform but missing from the list is Shatta Wale who allegedly decided to take money before performing on stage. The dancehall King has described the upcoming tribute concert in memory of the late Ebony as a ‘useless’ one to the amazement of Ghanaians who are outraged on social media with his latest comment.

According to Shatta Wale, Ebony’s tribute concert will not bring anything other than enriching organizers of the tribute concert. Shatta Wale however denied in an interview on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review on Saturday that he was not contacted about the concert

Artistes billed to perform at the event include Becca, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, VIP, R2Bees, Edem, Shatta Wale, Kofi Kinaata and Efya. Ruff Town Records have explained that proceeds from the concert will go into a foundation they have started in Ebony’s honour,

Ebony died in a gruesome car accident on February 8 and is expected to be buried on Saturday, March 24 at the Osu Cemetary.
