The iPhone XS Max is no longer the largest or fastest iPhone on the market, but it’s still a powerful device: it’s quick, has excellent cameras, and has a longer-lasting battery than the rest of Apple’s portfolio.
And now that it’s been on the market for a few years, you can get a good deal on it.
The XS Max manages to cram a 6.5-inch display into a shell that’s somewhat shorter and narrower (at 157.5 x 77.4mm) than the XS. Fortunately, the iPhone XS Max enables wireless charging, so if you have a charging pad handy, you can charge the phone while listening to music using wired headphones. The power/lock key is located on the right side of the XS Max and may be easily pressed with the thumb or fingers, while the volume controls are located below the physical mute button on the left.
To switch off the iPhone XS Max, hold down the power/lock key until an on-screen prompt display, which means you’ll need to hold down the power and volume up keys until an on-screen prompt shows.
