Nigerian police to invite D’banj with the real name Oladapo Olabanji and his wife over to make a formal report following the death of their son Daniel Oyebanjo III.
The Lagos state commissioner of Police Mr. Edgal Imohimi, however asked the couple to report to their station after mourning their only son.
The Nigerian afrobeat artiste last weekend lost his son who allegedly drowned in his Lagos home swimming pool which reports indicated that the young artiste was out for the BET which took of last Sunday but nobody can’t tell where his wife was at that moment.
The police command spokesperson Mr. Chike Oti stated that the police command had sent a delegation to condole with the family in times like this.
“The CP wants the family to know that at this period of their grief, the entire command shares in their pains”. He expressed
He added that though, they are mourning their son but they should remember that it’s expected of them to come and explain the circumstance which led to their sons death.
“It is expected that when the mourning period is over, the family will formally report the circumstances that led to the unfortunate death of the little Daniel to the police,” Imohimi said.
