Dancehall ‘King’ Shatta Wale is on a warpath with his Zylofon Media label mate and biggest competitor Stonebwoy again. The ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker has been throwing tantrums on social media for the past 2 days over Stonebwoy’s donation to the accident ward at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital a few days ago.
Shatta Wale came out gun blazing when a section of Ghanaian music fans praised Stonebwoy for the gesture and ridiculed him (Shatta) for buying cars for his friends instead of donating the money to the sick or poor.
He said this on Facebook:
In another rant on Friday afternoon, Shatta Wale proceeded to issue a warning to his rival by urging him to stop the silly things else he will end his career like he did Samini’s.
Shatta went on to question Stonebwoy’s loyalty to their record label, Zylofon Media. He implied that Stonebwoy is on the verge of leaving the label as has been rumored for the few weeks.
This new war of words between the music stars comes as a surprise to fans as both artistes buried their old differences and even performed together on one stage at Ashaiman last year.
To add to the fire, Stonebwoy’s manager also took to Facebook to shade Shatta Wale saying they won’t give him the attention he is craving.
He posted this:
How far this new ‘beef’ between the two biggest acts in Ghanaian dancehall goes, surely Vibelens will keep you posted.
