Pidgin Music rapper Yaa Pono claims no Ghanaian artiste had more shows than him last year. And he puts the figure at 300 for the number of concerts he played last year in a latest interview.

Though this figure is yet to be properly scrutinized, the Tema based rapper claims he was able to do this off the popularity of his diss single to Shatta Wale, titled “Gbee Naabu” when they got involved in a beef.

This claim comes in response to his apparent omission from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees. Though the rapper claims he had a very good year in 2017, none of his songs were nominated for the Ghana Music Awards.

Meanwhile, Yaapono claims he is not bothered by the fact that he was not nominated under the VGMA best rapper category. He said he is rather challenged to push harder and come out with songs that Ghanaians will jam onto them.
